Inner Healing Encounters: Guardians Assemble!

[et_pb_section bb_built=”1″][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text]

As a strong proponent of inner healing and deliverance, from time to time I learn new things. Recently, I was taking a little time to do some inner healing on myself, but kept getting interrupted by demonic activity inside my system (for some background, read these posts about systems and fragments and alters.)  Normally, I have all the parts with a particular issue or emotion gather into one location in the system, then I pray a prayer for us as a group out loud, and usually, most every part receives healing for that issue. We kept getting interrupted in a variety of ways inside by the demons which prevented me from getting anything done.

Honestly, it was annoying. I’m used to it because this is common when I do work on myself, but it is still annoying. On this particular occasion, however, inspiration struck. I had a bunch of guardian parts fend off the demons while I did inner healing with everyone else, and it worked great! Then, I asked all the parts who were ready to integrate to raise their hand, which they did. I then prayed for all of them to integrate not into my core/main/presenting self (ie. Me), but into all of the guardians. What this did is it gave each of the guardians a larger portion of my soul, and thus made them each a little bit stronger. I’ve done this before in other situations and with other people and it has worked well, so I did it here to good effect. I could sense the guardian parts not only getting stronger, but they had an easier time keeping the demons away as well! Since it worked, I continued to do some more inner healing without interruptions thanks to those parts doing a great job protecting everyone inside the system.

To back up a little bit, let me explain what a guardian is. As best as I understand it, a guardian is a fragment or alter who has become a protector of other parts or things inside the system. Unhealthy guardians often prevent inner healing work from getting done because they see the prayer counselor and sometimes the presenting personality as threats to the well being of them and those under their protection. On the other hand, a healthy guardian is not just experienced at some level of spiritual warfare, but is going to work with you to get things done. Knowing this, I leveraged their influence and it worked well.

I posted a status about this on social media and a friend asked how it made them feel. These were healthy guardians, so they handled it just fine as far as I could tell. If they hadn’t been, I don’t actually think the method would even have worked. On the other hand, I also don’t think it’s a fantastic idea to only integrate parts into other parts. Most of the time if I integrate a part, whether working with myself or someone else, I do it to the main self, and if I am ever unsure what to do, I ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. So while I don’t plan to constantly integrate parts into the guardians, I think I’ve got myself a new tool for inner self-healing, and from what I can tell self-inner-healing tools that work with fragments and alters are growing in demand.

The Kingdom Within—The Reality Of The Inner Dimension

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” text_font_size=”16″ use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

In my growing experience doing inner healing, I have come to understand that Inside each of us is a dimensional space of some kind.  In this space, we actually have far more activity than we might imagine.  For those who have Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), this is where the various personalities exist when they are not the presenting part that is using the body at that moment.  This is also the realm where demons inhabit if they are inside someone.  It might be known as an “Inner World” or “Inner Dimension”, but it has a variety of names.  I personally refer to it as one’s “System” simply because that is what my friends call it, but any of those three names are equally relevant, as might many more.

Luke 17:21 references this inner realm, saying, “nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”  Consider what that might mean.  The Bible says that we each have the Kingdom of God inside of us.  That passage doesn’t say that Jesus lives in us (although He does for those who are saved), but that within us is an entire realm of the Kingdom of God.  Let that sink in.  We know the Kingdom of God isn’t a tangible location on the earth.  I can’t buy a plane ticket and fly there for the weekend, but we know it still exists, so its location must be other-dimensional.  Some argue that it is a dimension that overlays ours, others think it is in outer space somewhere.  I think it is probably both and more, but it is clearly also a dimension within each one of us.

This has some interesting implications.  As I mentioned above, this inner System is where demons go when they are inside someone.  Luke 11:24-26 says, “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’  And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order.  Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”  Also echoed in Matthew 12:43-45, this passage contains some interesting secrets.  While I will not delve into the Greek here, there are some interesting details having to do with translation—ultimately the passages should say that the house is swept, ornate, and empty (read this article if interested in the Greek)

When we cast demons out of a person, if all we do is cast it out and do nothing to influence how the demon was able to get inside the system to begin with, then the demon will simply return later, find that the system it left earlier was cleaned up a bit and made nice and pretty for it, and it will bring roommates with it.  When I cast out a demon, I first find out how it got access to begin with, and we remove the point(s) of access, often through prayers of renunciation.  After making the demon leave, I pray for Holy Spirit to fill up every place the demon vacated.  In doing so, it stops being swept clean and empty, but rather the door locked to the demon, swept clean, and filled with God’s glory.

This inner dimension can fit a lot of stuff because it isn’t relegated to the size of our bodies.  Angels can be in there, demons can reside there, and Jesus can be enthroned in that dimension as well.  This inner dimension is where strongholds are located.  The Bible speaks in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 about them, saying “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.  We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”  At first glance it appears that Paul is talking about demolishing arguments other people are making, but if you read the sentences more closely, it actually seems Paul is talking about the inner world.  We cannot take other people’s thoughts captive; only our own, so Paul is clearly talking about our own inner soul here, at least to some extent.  Thus, if we understand that strongholds are some kind of castle or fortress, it makes far more sense that we can have strongholds inside us when we realize they exist inside the System.  When we use the power of God to demolish those strongholds, we are waging war internally against the demonic, taking over Kingdom ground within us.

One observation about the Inner System is that we can create anything there that we want, literally by saying it.  Job 22:28 says, “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.”  We create things with our words, and the workings of the System is a very good indicator of this.  For example, I was recently working with one of my granddaughters, and this particular part was upset because she felt God doesn’t answer her prayers.  I had this part ask God why her prayers aren’t answered, and from what she relayed to me, one of the reasons had to do with a lack of faith.  She wasn’t sure what to make of that, so I began to explain what the Bible says about faith being a tangible force and energy, and then said “There is faith right in front of you.  Look at it and tell me what you see.”  This part, who is looking in front of her while inside the system says “Oh, I see this glass vial with blue liquid and it has a cork in it.”  My declaration that faith was in front of her caused this spiritual item, a small glass bottle to appear inside her System.  We must remember that God spoke and in speaking created myriads of realms, and we are made in His image.  When I am doing inner healing with someone and speak something in faith, I release it into their inner system, and they can verify that it is there.  This happens consistently, not just with that vial of faith (which, by the way, I had that fragment drink and she informed me it tasted like strawberries, cherries, and chocolate. What fun!).

When we decree a thing into the System, we establish it in the inner dimension.  Because I know this when I start working with someone I make sure to add a few things that will help them.  I decree a spring of the water of life appears in their system, that continually flows and turns into a river that runs throughout the entire system.  I decree the Tree of Life is planted inside the System as well, and oftentimes parts who like gardening will grow them in their garden, which is again located inside this inner world.  I have a friend who had one fragment who likes to garden, and this part began to weave small rafts of willow leaves and sends plant starts down the river into other areas of the System that we haven’t been able to access yet.  The third thing I usually do is I decree a Healing Center into existence, and if the person doesn’t have any fragments or alters who are good at doing inner healing work (such as with my grandchildren) I staff the Healing Center with angels. By decreeing it, God assigns angels and they get sent into the System to staff the Center.  All of these things have long-term positive benefits and ensure that healing is taking place inside even if we aren’t doing inner healing prayer at that time.  And all of it occurs simply by declaration!  No wonder the power of life and death is in the tongue!

I began pursuing inner healing and deliverance around fifteen years ago, in my early twenties, and working with the System is the fastest, easiest, and most effective manner of ministering inner healing I have ever seen.  The reality of the Inner World is important to understand, and it helps provide a practical backdrop to understand where demons reside in a person before they are cast out and how multiple personalities can function.  In general it helps us understand how we can work with the functions of the multidimensional reality we live in to help bring the healing power of Jesus Christ to the individual.

A Sinister Undercurrent In Disney

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid” text_font_size=”16″]

I have never been to Disneyland or Disney World, and as amusement parks, they are probably very fun.  Some of the shows on the Disney Channel are far more wholesome than most adult shows.  And most kids enjoy at least some of the Disney Empire of movies.  Nevertheless, I have recently become aware of a nefarious and even occult undercurrent with the company.  Yes, I’m talking about the Magic Kingdom, Mickey Mouse, the Disney Princesses, and all of the rest of it, and more specifically in their movies.  It is very hard to pinpoint, but there is some type of occult and/or satanic influence behind Disney.  I’m not saying that everyone who works for Disney is evil, nor that the Board are satanists, and it is admittedly difficult to pinpoint the exact nature of the problem.  However, it has become apparent to me the past few weeks through a series of synchronous encounters the Lord brought across my path that there is indeed a sinister undercurrent in Disney.

In my own inner healing journey, I have shared a good bit on blog posts about working with fragments and alters.  I can’t explain everything here, but you can read a series of blogs on inner healing here that should catch you up a bit.  I haven’t shared many details of my own inner healing sessions, but I discovered recently that the word Disney itself was a significant trigger to my inner system.  In the process of unraveling the trigger, we located a part named Lacy Susan who kept talking about Maleficent, the witch from Sleeping Beauty.  This part was very scared and kept saying “She cast a spell on me.”  That is strange enough in and of itself, but it made me start wondering.  Was there some member of the Disney crew who, in production, added some spell to the movie?  I don’t know, but my one granddaughter is terrified beyond reason of Maleficent, and I will have to do some inner healing with her on the subject fairly soon.

The very next day, a friend, who is also a survivor of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) and who knew nothing about my inner healing encounter, messaged me about a dream she had that was filled with Disney references.  Not only was this dream filled with Disney characters and references, the entire dream was actually someone trying in real life to access and regain control over one of the parts in her system.  In talking with this friend more, she has identified this same sinister undercurrent in Disney and its involvement in her ritual abuse.  As part of her own inner healing journey she avoids all things Disney, and wisely so.

The day after that, my wife and I were talking with a friend and mentioned our growing suspicion about spiritual problems with Disney.  She informed us that as a kid she really liked The Little Mermaid, but that ever since, even in adulthood, she is somewhat plagued by the songs from that movie, as they randomly pop into her mind throughout the week . . . almost every week.  I led her in a short prayer of renunciation and she could feel something shifting inside her as she prayed.

I pondered all of this, as anytime a subject like this keeps coming up in a short period of time, it’s something God wants me to take note up.  I thought some more, and realized that in the movie Cinderella, the fairy godmother teaches the listener a set of spell words—an incantation.  Wanting to test my theory, I prayed to renounce the words she said in the song: “Salagadoola mechicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo”.  I immediately felt something shift inside me in the spirit.  I had a family member (who is of similar age and watched the same movie as a kid) test this for me as well.  I called up a super-prophetic part of hers, had this part pray the same prayer of renunciation, then asked her to tell me what happened inside her system.  She told me she also could see something lifting off of her in the spirit.

The difficulty with some prophetic revelation is that it’s not always clear.  For example, I don’t know if it is specifically the movies, something about the movie characters, or something else about Disney entirely.  I’m not sure if the characters are putting spells on people, if the issue is subliminal messaging (there are a bunch of subliminal images and hidden auditory soundtrack in older Disney movies), or some combination thereof.  It could be that there is something spiritual tied to the movies which is why the issue is so vague.  At some point in time, even if I don’t have all the answers, I’m simply not going to do Disney anymore.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m not exactly fawning all over the company to begin with, but if their products are that much of a spiritual problem, I am more than happy to do without.  And realistically, I encourage you to do the same.

While yes, it does open the door to some pretty frustrating questions such as “If Disney is bad, what is okay for the kids?”.  Honestly, I really don’t know anymore.  I’ve heard stories from reputable sources about Cabbage Patch Kids causing serious demonization of children, as well as Pokemon being based on actual demons and their attacks based on how demons actually influence on people.  The truth is that it easy to create spiritual problems and/or add demonic undertones in entertainment, especially children’s entertainment, and the reality is that there is an express goal by certain parties to do exactly that.  In the same way that SRA is far more widespread than anyone realizes, occult influence in Western Culture is also far more pervasive than many realize.  Frustrating?  Sure.  Nevertheless, it seems prudent to me to walk wisely and limit areas in my life (and my family’s lives) that give easy access to the enemy.

Have you noticed anything similar about Disney or other entertainment, whether for kids, adults, or the whole family?  What has God been showing you about the subject?

According To Your Faith Let It Be Done

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” text_font_size=”16″ use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

I was doing some inner healing with a family member recently.  We had identified a particular demon, identified the boss demon in charge of that one, and I then interrogated the boss about their points of access.  In this process I asked that boss about HIS boss.  I didn’t get very far as he said he didn’t really know anything.  Mind you, demons are liars so it can be difficult at times to know when they are telling the truth or just lying again, but in this particular moment it seemed to have answered truthfully.  Thus, I asked it “Who would know?”  After being evasive for a bit, it informed me of another fragment in the system we hadn’t know about before that knew who the Big One was.  Progress!

After casting out the boss and his lackeys, I spoke to that part he had told us about, whose name was Penny.  Penny was very pleasant, and extremely helpful.  She told me that the Big One, (whose name she didn’t know either, so that’s what she called him) is a principality, a territorial spirit over the USA.  More specifically, the Big One is very big, and affects many people,  targeting many individuals throughout the nation and sending groups of demons against them to prevent them from walking out their purpose.  Penny shared that the Big One appears like a dark fog that creates a dampening field over the nation to prevent the work of God from progressing.  One particular area he dampens is the ability of miracles to function.

While that revelation in and of itself is heavy, what Penny told me next made me laugh.  I asked Penny “Do you see him affecting me as well?”

“Not very much. . . largely because you don’t care and don’t believe he can.”

There is a valuable truth contained in the last thing Penny said.  While yes, it is helpful to know that there are spirits specifically sent against the people of God to prevent us from performing miracles and to keep us walking out our purpose and destiny, of much greater value is knowing how to reduce such negative influence, even if you aren’t spending any time praying against the Big One and his demonic henchmen.  The key Penny shared was that our faith changes any dynamic.

Seriously, think about that.  This part just told me that there is a principality, a powerful ruling territorial spirit over this vast nation who attacks the people of God to prevent them from living out their purpose, but he is only able to influence me to a small degree for one simple reason:

Because I don’t believe he can touch me.

Sometimes it literally is that simple.  Jesus spoke about the power and importance of faith and the converse, unbelief, on multiple occasions.  In Matthew 9:29-30a Jesus was praying for two blind men and the scriptures say, “Then he touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you’;  and their sight was restored.”  He was very clear that their faith was the influencing factor in that situation—the factor that decided how much healing they received.  Mark 6:4-6 says, “Jesus said to them, ‘A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.’ He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.  He was amazed at their lack of faith.”  We see this same dynamic repeated yet again, but in the negative.  This time, due to a lack of faith, widespread miracles are unable to be performed and Jesus was limited to healing just a few sick people.

Imagine that Israel had a territorial spirit like the Big One trying to prevent the miraculous.  Then enters Jesus—a man who knows who He is in the Father, and knows the authority and power he has been given from Heaven.  While yes, the unbelief of a group of people does affect His ability to function in the supernatural at the highest levels, He is still able to heal sick people in spite of their doubt because He knows He has the faith needed to get the job done.

It can be very easy sometimes to fall back on the “it doesn’t happen in the US” crutch.  But what would happen if you decided that demons didn’t have the ability or right to operate around you?  What if you decided to extend your faith to believe for a devil-free, doubt-free zone around you wherever you go?  What if your faith created a spiritual anti-dampening field that combats the demonic dampening fields set against us in this nation?  In reality, what makes us think that every nation doesn’t have a principality assigned to do the same?  We must learn to understand and activate the power of our faith to destroy the work of hell and release the virtue of heaven in our midst.

There is nothing super-special about me more than anyone else that makes me less-affected by this principality.  The only difference is in how much we believe it has the right or ability to affect us.  After all, if things are done to us according to our faith, then let us be people who believe what Jesus said of us in Luke 10:19:

“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”

SRA, CIA, DID: It’s Time To Get Ready

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” text_font_size=”16″ use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

There is a lot going on politically in the US right now, and one of the subjects the media is unlikely to talk about is Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) and one of the resulting problems it creates in the victims, namely Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). To learn a little more about fragments and where they come from, you can read my blog article titled ‘”Fragments – Part 3 of Divine Healing That Works”

http://www.thekingsofeden.com/2016/05/divine-healing-that-works-part-3/

It is expected that in the next year or so, although probably much sooner, we are going to see a lot of new information come to light about sex trafficking, satanic ritual abuse, mind control, ritual human sacrifice, and other perverse activities occurring in the highest levels of the US government, media, and entertainment. What I believe we are going to see is that there are a great many SRA victims that no one knew about. How is this possible?

SRA involves, among a slew of demonic rituals and other dark activities, what is essentially a combination of brainwashing, hypnotism, and subconscious Pavlovian suggestions, creating what is termed a “program”. Many SRA alters are the results of this purposeful programming, such that they respond in very directed, predictable ways depending on the external stimuli such as special words or symbols. These victims also have a lot of curses and demonic control that further complicates the issue, but intentional fragmenting of the soul to create alternate identities that can be brainwashed is a key part of this process. It is believed that some of the perpetrators of recent school shootings may have been victims of such programming. The CIA used to run Project MK Ultra, a set of mind control programming experiments, to learn how to do this very thing (For those who have seen the movie The Manchurian Candidate, this is a perfect example of people who have undergone MK-Ultra level mental programming but who are not SRA.). You can read the Wikipedia entry on MK Ultra here for those who are interested.  While the CIA publicly acknowledge that they shut down the MK Ultra program, which is technically true, it has moved past the experimental phase and simply has another name.

Whether SRA, CIA programming, or a combination of the two, the end result is going to be the same—alternate personalities (alters) that are essentially a fractured-off part of the individual’s soul that has formed its own unique identity. These alters may have programs that are very damaging, while others are more mundane—it varies from person to person, situation to situation, and alter to alter. I have an SRA friend who gave me her new cell phone number once, and later gave me a different one. Why the two numbers? The first time, an alter who isn’t usually responsible for handling that sort of thing gave me the number, and gave me the wrong one. Whoops! I remember hearing a story of another friend who walked into her kitchen and realized she had received some inner healing because all of her kitchen cabinet doors were open—she had unknowingly integrated the part who was responsible for shutting them. These are mundane stories but demonstrate experiences one might have if he or she has DID. Different parts do different things, and they don’t always share memories, so sometimes someone will have gaps in their memory because their core self wasn’t “awake” at the time an event occurred—an alter was and the core self didn’t have that memory.

I believe we are entering a new phase in history—a Great Awakening. I expect it will be filled with liberation of many of the governments of this world from corruption, as well as a mass-freeing of many who have been subjected to sex slavery, satanic ritual abuse, mind control, and much more. As this happens, however, we will need to have the right tools to help those around us who are struggling with demonic curses, split personalities, and mind programming. To do this, I believe we can do four things:

1. Become more aware of the problem. This can be done in a variety of ways, but even a cursory internet search will yield useful and helpful results. Amazon has a plethora of books on the subject as well. I have coauthored a book on the subject of fragments, alters, and inner healing titled “Broken To Whole“, available on Amazon. Two of the coauthors, Matt Evans and Diane Moyer, have written another book along similar lines, titled Divine Healing for Spirit, Soul, & Body.

2. Become aware of our own parts. As touched on in some of my other articles on the subject of fragments, alters, DID, and SRA, every person has fragments, but most people are unaware of them. Self-awareness and working on self-integration will help the individual prepare for working with or even just befriending others, as it gives perspective on what someone else could be experiencing. My article titled DID Self-Healing; Integrating Fragments and Alters is a useful resource to help move forward with this. A caution, it doesn’t work well for people who are SRA victims, as they tend to pass out and are unable to actually do the exercise. If anyone wants to work with a prayer counselor of some kind, you can go to our Resources page for a list of possible options.

3. Help others become more aware of the issue. With the advent of social media, this is very easy. For example, sharing this article or any of the others I have written on this subject on social media is a simple way to raise awareness with minimal effort. A simple internet search will yield a plethora of articles and information that can be shared with family and friends with the click of a button. Not everyone will gravitate to these subjects, but we all owe it to ourselves and those around us to become aware of the basics of this subject, if for no other reason than to not be caught unaware in the future. There may be people you or I know who have mind-programming and aren’t even aware of it until they read something you shared about the signs and symptoms of SRA. Dan Duval and Bride Ministries are a great resource for both personal learning and raising awareness.  I also highly recommend the following informational resource: SMART – Ritual Abuse

4.  Pray.  Prayer is the foundation for anything we want to see happen.  If we want corruption and evil exposed in the government, media, and entertainment industries, we pray.  If we want to see people set free from this kind of bondage, we pray.  Regardless of the situation, irrespective of the need, prayer should be the first solution to every problem.  Let us pray for God to open our eyes to the truth, and show us how to walk in freedom and life.

Last weekend we had an AWESOME time hosting the 2018 Portland School of Resurrection (Head over to Oneglance.org if you want to host one yourself).  At the end, we had a fire tunnel, which is basically a cross between a gauntlet and a prayer line.  You walk between two lines of people and everyone lays hands on you as you go, with the expectation that you will continue to be filled with the Holy Spirit and power until you reach the end of the line.  At one point, a friend walked through and as people laid hands on her, she began to choke.  I had felt led to keep an eye on her as she went through, and it turned out this was why—I could see her mouthing “I can’t breathe” as she held her hands to her neck and was crying.

Normally this might seem like a medical emergency, but under the circumstances, it was something different.  This friend has a history of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA), and as a result has what is commonly termed Dissociative Identity Disorder, or DID.  This condition involves the fracturing of the soul into different pieces, fragments and alters, to try to protect the individual from the pain of trauma.  While everyone has fragments, in SRA this is done on-purpose for a variety of reasons, but mostly it is to use the soul like a spiritual battery.  If you want to learn more about fragments and alters, DID, SRA, or just effective inner healing as a whole, check out my coauthored book Broken To Whole.

Back to my choking friend, I pulled her out of the prayer line immediately as I commanded the demons to let go of her, and sat her down on a seat next to us.  I then asked her who I was talking to.  The first thing she did was scrunch up her face and hiss at me. I immediately began to call her core personality up, saying “_(Name)_, come up!”  I did this because I wasn’t quite sure how to get the demons to stop harassing her, or where to go next, and getting her back up seemed like a good place to start.  While I rapidly got one of her main alters back up, as her core self was unavailable, I believe I missed out on an opportunity to bring her into greater freedom.

In hindsight, I probably should have taken a few minutes to interrogate the spirit who was hissing at me, as I probably would have discovered its entry point and been able to get rid of it once and for all.  After all, what was it going to do—hiss at me some more??  I think sometimes we get afraid when we start dealing with demons.  We wonder what is happening to the person inside when the demon is up and controlling the face or body.  We wonder if the demon is going to hurt us (and in all reality, some can, so it’s not an absurd notion to consider), or other concerns or fears.  The problem is that if we give in to those fears, try to avoid the demons, or otherwise freak out, we will miss out on opportunities to help people, like I believe I did.

While a good friend did spend some time praying with her afterwards, and I believe some good was done, she had been afraid the entire time that this episode was going to scare someone there.  And in fact it had scared someone, but the truth is that demons exist, they like to hide their presence in people, and don’t want people to get rid of them.  If someone gets scared because of a fairly weak, hissing demon, then how is that person going to be very effective against powers of darkness?  I believe this encounter could have been not just a time of deliverance for my friend, but possibly even a time of practical training for some of the other people present—a moment where they could encounter a very real spiritual being and discover just how far the authority and power of Jesus Christ in us extends.

In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Jesus both taught and commanded his disciples to cast out demons, so how is it any different for me and you?  As the Church, we need to help people grow to a place where you don’t fear demons—but rather make the demons fear you.

Why I Focus on Healing Fragments and Alters

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” text_font_size=”15″ use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Some people have a serious misconception about healing fragments and alters that creates a significant barrier to the healing process.  In the past I have had a few different people approach me online to point out they believe that my “focus” on trying to tell everyone their souls are broken into pieces is creating more brokenness, and giving the enemy greater room to afflict people by speaking death over them.  I believe inner healing is incredibly important, and I take it quite seriously, both in my own life and that of others, so I feel it is important to clear up some misunderstanding, and to explain why I focus on healing fragments and alters.

Let me ask you this:  if, as a nurse, I educate a diabetic patient about their diabetes, informing them of the risks and problems associated with their condition, am I making their diabetes worse?  Of course not.  On the contrary, by educating the patient about his or her pre-existing condition, I set up conditions to help manage and even help heal the problem (And yes, Type II Diabetes can be reversed).

If someone is unaware of a preexisting problem, he or she cannot fix it.  People die from unexpected heart attacks every day because they were unaware they were in danger.  Educating the public about the risks of a diet and lifestyle that promotes poor cardiac health does not, again, exacerbate the problem.  It gives people room to turn things around before a fatal problem rears its ugly head.

Healing fragments and alters is no different.  If someone has struggled much of his or her life with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) the problem of multiple fractured parts is readily apparent.  But what about everyone else?  Abuse is a common cause of DID, but what about all of those people who have suffered abuse but haven’t manifested the symptoms?  Did they somehow escape the problem, or are they still suffering from a more covert version of the same issue?

I personally believe that every adult human has these fractured parts that need healing and integration into the core self.  Some don’t share that belief, and that is okay.  There is no rule that says we have to agree on everything.  Nevertheless, disagreeing with me that everyone has the problem doesn’t negate the fact that some people verifiably do have this problem.  If you don’t feel this subject speaks to you, that’s fine, but it doesn’t make the problem go away for those who are affected by it—and people are affected by it.

What about the accusation that pushing this view is only creating more brokenness, and is speaking death over people instead of life?  Again, it comes back to the goal.  I don’t talk about this subject to afflict people any more than someone who teaches about the problem of sin does so to add more sin.  No, we educate about the problem so we can connect people with a solution.  When I share that we have inner brokenness, the goal is to help connect people with resources to become whole.  For those who regularly follow my blog, you will observe that it is very rare that I discuss some type of problem without providing possible solutions or at least a direction to help move forward at the end of the article.  I have written a lengthy 9-part blog on physical healing to point out the reasons why people don’t heal, all in order to connect people with solutions.

We all want answers to life’s problems, and I firmly believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only lasting solution to those problems.  However, in spite of the fact that this gospel has been preached for 2,000 years, we rarely see the level of results that the Body of Christ ought to be seeing for what we teach and preach.  I personally am not content to continue to rehash the same teachings that haven’t borne significant fruit before and expect that repeating them enough times will somehow gain better results in the future.  Thus, I start asking intelligent questions to uncover hidden problems.  Why hidden problems?  Because if they were obvious, we would have fixed them already.

God has been giving healing ministers revelation on this subject for decades, possibly even centuries, but it has taken time to become more mainstream.  My personal goal with this is not just to see those “difficult cases” receive healing, but to accelerate the healing process for everyone.  What if methods that work with healing fragments and alters were able to condense decades of prayer counseling and professional therapy into just a few years of work?  What if we could get people healed from significant issues such as lifelong Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) or even lesser problems, in such a way and with a speed that they don’t pass these issues on to their children?  Wouldn’t it be great if, when we prayed and asked God to accelerate the healing process, we actually expected God to give us wisdom and revelation to make that occur?

I am convinced that is what we are seeing now in this new wave of inner healing that focuses on restoring and integrating broken parts of the soul and spirit.  It is not and has never been about creating more brokenness—that would be stupid and counterproductive.  It is about identifying pre-existing problems and connecting individuals with the resources they need to become whole.  This is why I have such a focus on healing fragments and alters—to help usher in greater healing and freedom for every single person.

As with every other blog post I write on these types of subjects, here is the part where you can find help if this subject speaks to you:

1)  Check out my coauthored book Broken To Whole: Inner Healing for the Fragmented Soul.  I and my coauthors discuss this subject, and others, in significant depth, providing practical solutions for those struggling in this area, and education for those who aren’t sure if they have this problem or not—and if you aren’t sure, get the book and let it help you find out!  This could be an answer to your prayers for solutions.

2)  For those who are concerned that this view is not scriptural, I encourage you to read another article featured on my blog titled Healing Fragments and Alters: From Genesis to Jesus by Matt Evans, healing minister, guest author, and one of the other coauthors of our book Broken To Whole:  Inner Healing for the Fragmented Soul.  It is mentioned in a number of places in scripture; the book goes into more detail than the article, but the article is a great starting point.

3)  Pick up a bottle of Fragment Finder flower essence from Freedom Flowers, specifically designed to help accelerate the healing and integration process.

4) If you want to pick up both the book and the essences, you can get the Broken To Whole Essence Kit, which includes both the book and a five-essence combination that should help address the most significant aspects of this process of soul healing.

5) Connect with a prayer counselor and/or inner healing minister to jump-start your journey to wholeness.  Check out our Resources Page for contact information.

Healing Fragments and Alters: From Genesis To Jesus

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

The following guest post was authored by Matt Evans, a man who focuses his ministry on inner healing, and who coauthored a book with me and four other authors, Broken to Whole: Inner Healing for the Fragmented Soul.  His article is as follows:

Since authoring our new book on healing fragments/fractured parts through the work of the Spirit (Broken to Whole: Inner Healing for the Fragmented Soul), we’ve been asked by a few people for a biblical basis. We even ran into one keyboard crusader of orthodoxy who was publicly demanding more Bible verses.

As much as we would love to quote the verse, “Yea, verily, thus saith the Lord, thou shalt integrate thine fragments and thine alters and then thou shalt be every whit whole saith your God,” we also are having trouble finding the verse that says, “Thou shalt turn on thine computer when thou wakest, and thou shalt readeth thy brother’s blog post, and when thy brother publisheth his book on Amazon, thou shalt download it unto thy Kindle, and then thou shalt demand more Bible verses before thou readest, because surely thus saith the Lord, thou shalt do nothing unless it is expressly written in thine Bible.” Or, how about the verse that says, “Thou shalt getteth thee into thine car, and driveth unto Five Guys to buyeth thee a cheesburger with fries, then thou shalt come home and crusadeth against heretics on the internet unto the glory of the Mighty One of Israel?”

The truth is, if we could only do things that are explicitly mentioned in scripture, we would all need to smash our computers as instruments of the devil, then join the Amish for the rest of our days. I’ll share a bit more later about how the New Testament leaves things wide open for continual revelation beyond what is written, but I want to share various places where scripture does speak to the issue of fragmentation and integration, even in some exceptionally clear ways.

First, an excerpt from my own (Matt’s) writing in the book itself:

Ministry to fractured parts was a basic element of Jesus’ mission statement in Luke 4:18. There, he quoted Isaiah 61, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon        me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, he has sent me to bind up/heal the broken hearted…” The word for “broken hearted” there in the Hebrew is “shabar,” which means to be shattered into many pieces. Jesus came to heal and to bind together those who have been shattered into many pieces. We’ve found this to be literally true; most, if not all, people have been shattered into many fractured parts, and these parts need to be healed and joined back together for the person to experience wholeness.

Then, Diane Moyer wrote:

I started praying and seeking the Lord about it, and he showed me the Scriptures about double-mindedness in James 1:8 that says, “being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” I looked up ‘double-minded,’ and the root of ‘minded’ is ‘psyche,’ which means soul. ‘Double’ means twice, so being double minded means you have two souls. Hmmm… how can that be? Two souls?

The Lord showed me that what I had been taught before about double-mindedness—one foot in him, one foot in the world—was not correct. ‘Double-mindedness’ means two souls or two minds. What I felt the Lord was revealing to me was that many people have a part or parts of their soul that was stuck in trauma while they were a child. This fractured-off part of ourselves speaks within us—an internal voice that wants its own way.

Also:

More recently, the Lord gave me a picture of what fragments/fractured parts are. He has been showing me that although our body is one, it has many parts—fingers, toes, arms, head, eyes, etc. Each part has its function and job (1 Corinthians 12:14-26). Our soul functions in a similar manner—it is one but has many parts, each with its own function. If you break an arm, you find ways to compensate, doing what you normally would do without using that arm. If you lose your eye-sight, then your other senses become more enhanced to help you function. Although this works to some degree, it is never the same or as effective as if you were not injured.

The soul works the same way. When we are wounded emotionally, a part of our soul is crippled. We developed defense and coping mechanisms to overcome the crippling in that part of the soul. These mechanisms remain in place until that part of the soul is healed.

You cannot talk or decide your way out of this kind of problem, and self-control only works for a short while. The Lord ministering to the wounded part of the soul is the best solution.

We can look a bit deeper into the major themes of scripture as a whole, the overall story of redemption, and the basic nature of God and man revealed throughout the Bible to get even more insight into fragmentation and integration:

From the beginning, God was a plurality within one person. Genesis 1:1 says that God(Elohim) created the heavens and the earth. That Hebrew word, “elohim,” is plural, and is translated elsewhere in scripture as “gods,” as in “you shall not worship other gods(elohim) or bow down before them.” Man was created in the image of this plural being. Could it be that from the very beginning of Genesis, we are being shown that our nature, in the image of God, is to contain multiple identities within one person? One might even think the ancient Israelites were polytheistic if it weren’t for verses such as Deuteronomy 6:4, “Hear O Israel, the LORD (adonai) our God (Eloheinu/Gods) is one,” used often to support the doctrine of the Trinity. According to the Old Testament, “The Lord our Gods is one.” Does this mean God has fractured parts? No, but he has various individual identities operating in unity (syncronization). This is different than fragmentation created through trauma, which is a survival mechanism with negative consequences until it’s healed, but speaks of our basic nature of being capable of forming more than one identity in healthy and unhealthy ways.

Jesus not only clarified some of how God is multiple persons in one (Father, Son, Spirit), but he was given to bring us into unity once again in Him. His prayer in John 17 was that “they may be one, Father, as you and I are one, that they may be one in us, that the world may know that you have sent me.” Jesus came to bring “many sons to glory” as the author of Hebrews writes, revealing that our design from the beginning was to be sons like Jesus, to be joined into the family of the Trinity, one with the Father like Jesus.

In Romans 5, Paul explains how all of mankind fell in Adam but was to be restored in Christ. Basically, the Father lost his son (Adam/mankind) who was created in his own image, meant to partake in oneness with the Trinity. God became alienated from parts of his own image and identity through broken relationship (division) and lost/separated identity (dissociation). Jesus, the exact image of God and the core identity of humanity, would be born on earth to restore all the fractured parts of mankind (individual people dissociated from their original source and purpose) back into one again.

Jesus came to heal us, to deliver us, and to restore us into, not only relationship with the Trinity, but oneness with the Trinity. When scripture says that we are “in Christ” and that he is in us, what could this mean but that we are one with him? Paul writes in 1 Corinthians, “he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him,” relating that to the union between a man and a woman, where the two are tied together in spirit, soul, and flesh, becoming one. We are the body of Christ on earth, meaning that even our flesh has been joined to him through redemption. We have been given the mind of Christ as well.

The work of redemption is not only restoring mankind from fragmentation on this macro-scale, but is restoring God’s fragmented parts back to himself, since he identifies so intimately with us, declaring our experiences to be his experiences when he said, “as you have done it to the least of these, you have done it unto me.” On a micro-scale, the individual person made in his image, why would this be any different? We have found that, just as Isaiah 61 tells us that messiah would come to heal and bind together those who have been fractured into many pieces, restoration of fragmentation within individuals is a huge key to healing.

Finally, I want to share an excerpt of my writing from an upcoming book Diane and I are nearly ready to publish, which covers a more broad array of healing topics, focusing on the heart behind it all, “Divine Healing for Spirit, Soul, and Body”:

A common objection to this sort of ministry is that there isn’t a model for every part of it in scripture. I mean, where do you see Jesus having someone revisit their memories and hand over their emotions, or ministering to their fractured parts? Although we will be including scripture references and sometimes scriptural examples, it is true that more of what you typically see in the Bible are stories of someone saying, “Be healed!” and that’s all there is to it.

My response to this objection is that scripture was never meant to contain examples of everything we are to do. John 21:25 tells us “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they were written in detail, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books that would be written.” The gospel accounts of Jesus’ healing ministry are only generalized representations; they don’t reveal everything he did. They say he healed multitudes in this place and that. They usually don’t say how.

Jesus commissioned his disciples to teach people to do everything he had done and taught (Matthew 28:20). He also said in John 16:12, near the end of his earthly ministry, that he had many more things to teach them which they weren’t yet ready for. He said that Holy Spirit would continue to lead them into all truth, to teach them beyond what Jesus himself had taught them. This means we can expect Holy Spirit to lead us into things beyond what is in the book.

Jesus said in John 14:12 that believers would do greater works than he. What if that means doing more complete healing than he did?

In Matthew 12:43, Jesus spoke of the generation of people he had healed and delivered in large numbers, saying that when an unclean spirit departs from a man it searches through dry places seeking rest and finding none, returns to the person it came out of with seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and so the last state of the man is worse than at first. He then said, “So shall it also be with this wicked generation” (KJV). His prediction came true about many of those he had healed and delivered. The same multitudes who Jesus had healed and delivered on a surface level soon turned on him and participated in the murderous work of the principalities and powers of darkness, shouting as one, “Crucify him!”

Even those Jesus poured into most during his time on earth (Peter and the other apostles) failed miserably in his final hours, revealing that they still had much healing and transformation to receive. Apparently, Jesus didn’t “totally heal and deliver” anybody in a five-second prayer, nor even through three years of discipleship.

What if one of the promised “greater works” is leading people into deeper healing, not just temporary relief of an issue on the surface such as a demon or a disease? What if literally removing the sins and driving woundedness from the hearts of the masses was one of the things Jesus had in mind for us, but which he didn’t have time to thoroughly accomplish in his own mission?

He was just getting the ball rolling in the right direction, showing a taste of what was possible, but not showing everything. It would then be our job to search out the wisdom of God and move into progressive revelation and experience over the ages. We have a living relationship with God, not just a closed book.

All these things we are talking about, healing emotions in memories, healing fractured parts, etc., are really only a matter of allowing the Lord access to the authentic content of our hearts so that he can help us where we truly are.

-Matt Evans-

Keys to Healing and Transformation

“I’m in my late 30’s, and possibly not what you expect a “minister” to be. I’m not interested in having a ceremonial hat or fancy title. I’m very much into organic relationships and not so much into big organizations. I relate to people in a low-key manner and on equal footing. I’m not obsessed with “avoiding the appearance of evil.” (That’s an inaccurate translation anyway.)  I’m most at home with those who religion ostracizes, who don’t buy into every last line of the doctrine statements, who may be a little rough around the edges, who can be comfortable in their own skin, who aren’t paranoid of going to hell if they hear a cuss word or if they give someone “license” to stumble through a journey of discovery. Actually, I call that love.

Jesus has been very real in my life since a young age, and I could never be satisfied with a “normal” life that would make sense to most people. After all I’ve seen and been a part of, I must spend my life in his presence and for his cause. Nothing else compares. God has shown me that he IS love (as opposed to being that sometimes but becoming something else if his kids misbehave). He has met me and worked in my life despite my not having it all together in so many ways, so I also meet people where they are and simply bring life to them, without requiring them to conform to a standard.  I’ve always been a bit outside the box, and have struggled sometimes with not fitting into church and ministry crowds. While feeling like the unlikely one and the misfit far too often, I’ve found the Lord faithful to miraculously open doors for me and to accomplish many significant things beyond my wildest expectations.  I’ve come to love being a part of this journey.”

Overcoming The Fear Of Death

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” text_font_size=”16″ use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Back in 2002, shortly after the movie A Walk To Remember came out, I was a freshman in college and it was playing at some evening campus event.  Having nothing to do, I decided to watch it, and was in tears toward the end when ***spoiler alert*** one of the main characters, played by Mandy Moore, dies.  It was a sad ending to a movie but it had that sweet, angsty relationship drama that seems to be so big among teenagers, of which I was one at the time.  For whatever reason, I have always been able to identify with that movie–the desire to get married at a young age, and the fear that my spouse would die many years before me.

I don’t recall when either the desire to be married young or the fear of early spousal death took hold within my heart, but both conditions certainly have been set up in my life.  At age 23, my wife and I got married, and she was (and remains) 24 years older than I am.  I find it interesting that both my deep desire to be married young and my potential fear of my spouse dying early have been all wrapped up into one.  Certainly I don’t hope for that, but given our significant age difference, that possibility certainly exists, at least in a normal life where people believe that we are all fated to die.

If we fast forward to now, where I am 33, I don’t actually believe in death and dying, preferring to simply live forever like Jesus promised us so many times in scripture.  Yet, at the same time I still find myself getting sick every winter, and my wife experiences chronic pain and a host of other issues from long-term mercury poisoning from dental amalgam fillings (if you have them, get them out of your mouth–they are slowly killing you).  Neither of these look very much like the abundant life Jesus promised us.

I found myself the other day thinking about the fact that my wife is in pain every day, and it’s really just a question of how much pain she is going to be in.  I was talking to God about the situation, and A Walk to Remember came to mind.  I realized that the fears I harbor regarding my spouse dying an early death are a contributing factor to attracting death and disease in her life.  God reminded me that in the same way that Job’s fears were largely responsible for the calamity he experienced (Job 3:25 says, “What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.”) that I influence my wife’s health to some immeasurable degree through my fear.

After I was prompted about this, I began to repent in prayer and renounce those fears and the beliefs underlying them.  I asked the Lord to bring healing into every place in my heart that is hurt and has given room for those fears.  I asked Him to touch every fragmented and fractured part of my soul that is not part of my core self that may hold this fear of spousal death and of the pain and loss associated with it, ministering to them and bringing them into greater freedom.  Shortly after that, I began to get nauseous, which is often indicative to me of demons manifesting if it occurs during or after a time of prayer.  I began to address the demons associated with those hurts and fears and erroneous beliefs.  I do not believe I am finished with this fear and the underlying beliefs, but I do feel I have made a step forward, both in correcting my own thoughts and emotions that are tied into death, and in altering the attraction I bring by my beliefs into my life and subsequently into my wife’s.

Some of the techniques I used are similar to those found in my new coauthored book Broken to Whole: Inner Healing for the Fragmented Soul which we have just launched this week.  In this book you will learn not only how to identify fragmented parts of your soul and spirit that need healing and integration, but you will uncover why and how they got broken to begin with, as well as what problems they have been causing in your life.  I believe that many readers will find a light-bulb goes on in their minds as they read this book.  You will begin to uncover contributing spiritual factors behind frustrating life patterns, physical ailments, and more, as well as techniques and solutions on how to fix them.  I encourage you to pick up a copy of Broken To Whole today to kick-start and accelerate your healing journey.

For those interested in additional help, you can use the “Fragment Finder” flower essence alongside the book to help move your emotional healing journey forward even faster.

How My New Puppy Healed My Heart

This past Thursday my wife, grandkids and I drove about 3 hours north to get a puppy—a nine-week-old German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix.  We have been looking at dogs for a while and have been discussing it for years, but held off for various reasons.  My wife had dogs much of her adult life and my family had a few different dogs when I was growing up.  My wife and I have wanted a dog for a while but have held off for a variety of reasons.  We have had rabbits and chickens, but this would be our first dog as a couple.  All of us were excited.

The event itself took all day.  Between six hours of driving to this farm, helping the wife of the couple deliver a baby goat, and meeting the litter and picking a puppy, the hours flew by.  The ride home was stressful as well, as the dog got carsick early on and we still had a long drive ahead of us.  It all worked out, the puppy arrived at our home safe and sound, and we have been having a both enjoyable-yet-stressful first week with the puppy.  What surprised me the most about this entire process was the inner healing I have received during this past week—all from getting a new dog.

To back the story up a bit, when I was younger, all of our dogs were SPCA rescues.  The first was Mosby, a golden lab who we ended up having to give away years later.  I was probably eight or nine at the time.  We had Jeb for a few months, a pitbull puppy who we took back because he was a biter, and at some point we found Ginger.  She is the only dog my parents have had in the past thirty years who was not given some sort of South-related Civil War name—and I named her.  🙂

Ginger was a total sweetheart, and I loved that dog.  I think our family pretty unanimously agrees that she was the best dog we have ever had, and I remember the day we had her put to sleep.  She was old, and I forget all the details, but I was in my teens and I was very sad—we all were.  I remember her laying on the table on the right-hand side of our vet’s office as he injected a blue-colored substance into her, and she closed her eyes and passed away.  I will never forget that moment; I loved that dog.

Fast forward again to this past week, and this new dog (whom we named Rowan Bronx Delta the I) has helped bring me inner healing I didn’t know I needed–grieving over Ginger’s death.  I have found myself thinking of my favorite childhood dog multiple times this past week—when I haven’t thought of her in years.  It’s amazing how something so simple—and what would usually be thought of as a good thing, can bring about such painful memories.  And while this might not sound like a good thing, it’s actually quite wonderful.

You see, grief, and all other painful emotions are stored in the body, and over time they contribute to physical disease.  Even when they don’t cause disease, they remain behind the scenes and negatively impact our ability to make good decisions.  When situations arise that feel similar to the one that caused our pain, we naturally and unconsciously react to protect ourselves from further pain.  This means that we aren’t actually free to make good decisions because we tend to choose whatever will keep us from the pain we don’t realize we are carrying.

I am thrilled to have added Rowan to our family.  I am blessed that I had the opportunity to have Ginger as a pet.  And I am very thankful that God has used this encounter to help set me free.  How has God been bringing about healing in your life?
